Premise:
- Go to the Updater at the MoDesign main shop
- Wear your attachment
or rez it on the update table. - Make sure the attachment is not locked.
To update a RLv locked item might spoil your product! - Make sure you own the key.
- If not, take the key.
Standard Update Procedure:
- Touch the updater in the shop
→ You will get a folder including:
- an Update Orb
- an update script - Rez the Update Orb somewhere near
- always use the latest Update Orb available
- please keep in mind that the orb might be returned by autoreturn. - Touch the Update Orb
→ You get a list of update able items.
- If the product you are looking for is not shown, try to Refresh - Choose the item you want to update from the list presented.
→ The update will begin
Update if your item is not listed by the Update Orb:
- Check if your item is unlocked and try again.
- Or: Try again by pressing Refresh after touching the Update Orb - Try to update the old way:
- Rez your item next to the Updater
- Touch your item
- Go to Plugins → Extras → Update (or Plugins → Update) - If no update plugin is available or the update plugin is not working:
- Take the update script given by the server
- Drag it onto your item
- Touch the Update Orb again and follow the standard update procedure - If you cannot install the update script
→ Your item is not updateable
