Tutorial: Control TP

This dialog gives you the ability to control chat options in very detail. All settings and their status will be displayed in the dialog box.

The Control TP Dialog

There is a main switch to activate or deactivate the settings defined in this dialog.  That way you can apply or release your preferred set of restrictions very quickly.
All options can be activated by proximity sensors. To learn more about proximity modes, please refer the tutorial about proximities.

TP

Use this to toggle between options that restrict the ability to teleport:
  • teleport not restricted
  • teleport ability throttled to 1 teleport every 10 minutes
  • teleport ability throttled to 1 teleport every 30 minutes
  • teleport denied completyl

TP Invite

Use this to toggle between options that handles control about teleport invitations:
  • invitations not restricted
  • invitations denied, all invitations will be discarded
Exceptions
Use this to apply exceptions, if you deny teleport invites. You can allow owners or friends to send teleport invites, even when invites are denied to all other people.

TP Accept

This setting tells the script about how to handle allowed TP invitations - either if they are invited in general, or invitations by people defined by exceptions. Options are:
  • manual accepts - this is usual behavior, a dialog box will ask to accept the invite.
  • auto accept by Owners - the subject will not be able to deny teleport offers of the owners, they will force-TP immediately
  • auto accept by Owners and friends
  • auto accept any TP offer - use this with care

Sit TP

Besides the option of regular teleports, there are ways to "teleport" by sitting on items. This means, the agent chooses to sit on an item - e.g. a chair. If that chair is far away, this can be considered a teleport.
With this option, you can prevent the subject from sitting on any item that is further away then 1.5 meters. Also if the subject stands up, the avatar will stand at the very position where it started to sit.

Secure Mode

The secure mode is a strict rule about how to handle exceptions (like described above). When active, only exceptions are accepted, that are issued by this product. If you use this, you as well are very likely to render other products malfunctioning. So, handle with care.

Friends

With this menu, you can add or remove people to the friends list, that can be applied as exception to restrictions.

Blacklist

People that are added to the blacklist are prevented to communicate with the person wearing this product. They will not be able to use instant messages with each other. The people on the blacklist will also be ignored in open chat. Use this to deny contact.
